HLASOPLET is an informal male vocal group that has been entertaining audiences since 2003. It is a quintet that started with five young men who met at the J.K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen. Precision, colourfulness and musical wit combined with intense joy in every performance soon won the hearts of their listeners.

Their repertoire soon grew to include spirituals, jazz pieces, Czech and world evergreens in original adaptations as well as the group’s unique work. Along with performing in Czech Radio programmes and the most prestigious social events and concerts , the group has also enjoyed recognition by their audiences (Audience Prize, Prague A-cappella Festival 2012 ). Hlasoplet has released 2 CDs: Jedním tahem (Avik, 2010) and the album of original Christmas songs Betlém, aneb České Vánoce A Cappella (Multisonic, 2014).
The unmistakable sound of Hlasoplet springs from the ingenious arrangements of David Vaňáč and the deep bass of Jan Fraus. With superb singers and the wit of Zdeněk Lahoda, their nonchalant master of ceremonies, you’re entertainment is guaranteed with Hlasoplet every time.
